Wax is made by extracting and concentrating the chemical compounds from cannabis strains such as THC or CBD to create a very potent product. Wax is very similar to shatter except that it has lost its transparency. Wax extracts come in different forms and can range from a moist, soft budder-like texture to a more dry and brittle texture called crumble. Budder and crumble are both wax variations. The major difference between them is that crumble and shatter hold different amounst of moisture in the oil, heat levels, and agitation used during the process. Crumble and other forms are heated at a lower temperature during the drying process. Many patients who enjoy extract products also enjoy hash products.
